Founded in the year 2012, the roots of THY COLLECTION go back to the year 1992, with the chartering of ICD, our parent building company, whose original goal was to provide tourist markets with comprehensive solutions in the planning and building of tourist real-estate developments.
At its founding, ICD Construction staff had accumulated more than 35 years' experience in the planning, building, development and marketing of numerous projects in Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and the United States.
Shortly thereafter, ICD merged with GRUPO SITRA, a subsidiary of KVERNER CEMENTATION HOUSE HOLDING LTD, formerly TRAFALGAR HOUSE CONSTRUCCION INTERNATIONAL HOLDING LTD, one of the world's largest construction conglomerates, a move that greatly strengthened its operations.
